Basketball Game Preview: Easley Green Wave vs. Greenwood Eagles + Official Tickets

Easley is 1-9 against Greenwood since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Green Wave will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:45 p.m. Easley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Greenwood likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Easley came up short against Seneca and fell 70-61. While the Green Wave didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bobcats 21-13 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Greenwood put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 78-63 win over Wren.

Easley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Greenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Easley couldn't quite get it done against Greenwood in their previous meeting back in January as they fell 72-64. Thankfully for the Green Wave, Cj Terrell (who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
