Volleyball Game Preview: Tularosa Wildcats vs. New Mexico Military Institute Colts

The Tularosa Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the New Mexico Military Institute Colts at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Tularosa came up short against Dexter and fell 3-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Tularosa was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Dexter work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24, 23-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, New Mexico Military Institute hadn't done well against Ruidoso recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Colts skirted past the Warriors 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

New Mexico Military Institute wouldn't go down easily and took Ruidoso into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 25-27, 19-25, 15-12.

New Mexico Military Institute's record is now 11-8. As for Tularosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Tularosa couldn't quite get it done against New Mexico Military Institute in their previous matchup on Tuesday as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
