Football Recap: Roswell Starts Season with Win Against Peachtree Ridge + How To Watch

Roswell gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Peachtree Ridge Lions 45-17. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Trey Smith was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roswell will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Walton at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Peachtree Ridge, they will head out to take on Piper at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
