Baseball Recap: Ocoee Comes Up Short

Ocoee fell victim to Edgewater and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Edgewater Eagles, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly seven runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Ocoee and nudges their season record down to 5-7. As for Edgewater, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Ocoee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 victory against Colonial on the 11th. As for Edgewater, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bradley Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bradley Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Edgewater surely won't give up without a fight.
