Chester is 10-0 against Arlington since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gracie Huntimer, who had 20 digs. Huntimer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Bauman, who had 12 digs and two aces.
Meanwhile, Arlington came up short against DeSmet on Saturday and fell 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.
Chester's victory bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 11-16.
Everything went Chester's way against Arlington in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, as Chester made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chester since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
