Volleyball Recap: La Sierra Eagles vs. Norte Vista Braves
La Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Norte Vista Braves. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Braves from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
While La Sierra ultimately came up short, they really made Norte Vista work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17, 25-13.
La Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Norte Vista, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. La Sierra will square off against rival Rubidoux at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Norte Vista is set to face off against their familiar foe Jurupa Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
