Denton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They snuck past Aledo with a 45-40 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Meanwhile, Arlington Heights entered their tilt with Centennial on Tuesday with 11 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 12. They skirted past the Spartans 62-60. The win was all the more spectacular given the Yellowjackets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Spartans are ranked 62nd).

Arlington Heights' victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Denton, their win bumped their record up to 19-14.
