Football Recap: Lake View Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Lake View hadn't done well against Mather recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildcats took down the Rangers 38-21. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 39-0 victory the Rangers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Lake View pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games. As for Mather, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Lake View will venture away from home to challenge Curie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Condors' defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mather, they will host Prosser at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
