Football Recap: Muldrow Takes a Loss

Muldrow lost against Holland Hall back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 19-8 to the Dutch. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Dutch are ranked 35th).

When it comes to explaining why Muldrow lost, don't look at Deshawn Wilson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 116 yards while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Wilson has become a key player for the Bulldogs: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

Holland Hall got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was James Jones out in front who rushed for 125 yards. Those 125 rushing yards gave Jones a new career-high.

Muldrow is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. As for Holland Hall, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
