Basketball Game Preview: South Central Satellites vs. North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays

The South Central Satellites will square off against the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: South Central has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while North Judson-San Pierre will arrive with five straight victories.

Last Friday, South Central ended up a good deal behind Tri-Township and lost 31-16.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for North Judson-San Pierre on Friday. They took down Triton 55-37. Given the Bluejays' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Trojans are ranked 353rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

South Central was taken down by North Judson-San Pierre 70-32 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can South Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
