Football Recap: Riverview Comes Up Short

Riverview fell victim to Highland and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Rebels 54-0. The Raiders lost against the Rebels in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-12 score last time.

Jaxon Tribble went supernova For Highland., rushing for 35 yards and a pair of TDs, while also picking up 34 receiving yards.

Riverview's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverview will face off against Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Gosnell at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
