Petoskey had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Gaylord Blue Devils.

Petoskey pushed their record up to 12-5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for Gaylord, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-2.
