Soccer Recap: Waterford's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Waterford's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Intermountain Christian Lions by a score of 2-1. One thing that didn't help Waterford's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Murray Gibson.

Waterford's goal came courtesy of Hunter Marshall, who's now up to four this season.

The loss snapped Waterford's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. As for Intermountain Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterford will face off against Wasatch Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Intermountain Christian, they will take on Telos at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Intermountain Christian are facing Telos at the right time seeing as Telos are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
