Basketball Recap: Anderson-Shiro Takes a Loss

Anderson-Shiro was the 45-33 winner over New Waverly when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Waverly Bulldogs on Thursday.

Anderson-Shiro has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-13 record this season. As for New Waverly, their victory bumped their record up to 12-19.

Looking ahead, Anderson-Shiro will square off against East Bernard at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Waverly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
