After losing to Grants the last time they met, Espanola Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sundevils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Pirates on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Sundevils have posted since September 14, 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Espanola Valley and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Grants, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Espanola Valley will square off against Cuba at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grants, they will head out to take on Del Norte at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
