Volleyball Recap: Liberty Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Liberty hadn't done well against Sunrise Mountain recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Liberty blew past Sunrise Mountain 3-0. The Lions not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30, 2024.

While Liberty might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Sunrise Mountain scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

Liberty pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sunrise Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Liberty will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Desert Vista at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th. As for Sunrise Mountain, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Northwest Christian on the 14th.
