With a playoff win on the line, Shady Spring rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Spring Valley Timberwolves by a score of 2-0. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Reagan Mann paced Shady Spring's offense, picking up nine kills. Mann got some help from Bryanna Shrewsberry and her ten assists. Mann was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The win made it two in a row for Shady Spring and bumps their season record up to 12-4-1. As for Spring Valley, they moved to 9-6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Shady Spring didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Philip Barbour on the 6th. As for Spring Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Buffalo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
