Baseball Recap: Tulelake Comes Up Short

Tulelake lost against Loyalton on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Honkers lost 13-1 to the Grizzlies. The Honkers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tulelake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Orr, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Tulelake's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Loyalton, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Coming up, Tulelake will head out to take on Weed at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Honkers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. Loyalton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
