Volleyball Recap: Judson Rockets vs. Canyon Cougars
Judson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Canyon Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7, 25-12.
Gabriela Anna Etter was the offensive standout of the game as she had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.
Judson's loss dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Canyon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-12.
Judson will head out to challenge Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson is coming into the contest with six straight victories at home, so Judson will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Canyon, they will host Steele at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
