Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Faith Christian walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Monroe Central Golden Bears on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Kelsey Olehy was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 17 assists and ten digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Faith Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in 16 consecutive matchups.

Faith Christian's record now sits at 29-4. As for Monroe Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 13-20 record.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Faith Christian and South Newton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Monroe Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
