Volleyball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short on the Road Against Meyersdale + How To Watch

Everett had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meyersdale Red Raiders. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Raiders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Everett started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-18, 25-14, 27-25.

Addy Wood paced Everett's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wood got some help from Laynee Cornell and her 18 assists. Cornell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Everett and Meyersdale will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors will take on rival McConnellsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Meyersdale is set to square off against their familiar foe Windber at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
