Softball Recap: Sandalwood Saints vs. Andrew Jackson Tigers
Sandalwood won the last time they faced Andrew Jackson and things went their way on Thursday too. Sandalwood walked away with a 10-6 win over Andrew Jackson. With that victory, the Saints brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Kelsie Salter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Annie Bascon was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madison Heath, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
