Basketball Recap: Niagara Takes a Loss

Niagara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the Florence Bobcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Badgers have suffered since December 12, 2024.

Niagara now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Florence, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Niagara will challenge Lena at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Florence, they will face off against Elcho at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Florence is facing Elcho at the right time seeing as Elcho is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
