North Fremont had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. Everything went their way against Marsing as they made off with a 7-1 win.

Peyton Lenz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, London Marsden was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Grace Heiner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

North Fremont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

North Fremont's record now sits at 11-7. As for Marsing, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Coming up, North Fremont will square off against Malad at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marsing, they will be taking part in a tournament against American Falls at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
