Basketball Game Preview: Timpanogos Timberwolves vs. Mountain View Bruins

The Timpanogos Timberwolves will head out on the road to face off against the Mountain View Bruins at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.

Timpanogos is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since February 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Provo 58-30. The game marked the Timberwolves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mountain View won against Crimson Cliffs on Friday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Mountain View walked away with a 52-40 win over Uintah. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Mountain View has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Timpanogos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Timpanogos came up short against Mountain View in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 56-44. Can Timpanogos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
