Baseball Recap: Bandys Drops Highest Score of Season Against West Caldwell

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bandys). Everything went their way against the West Caldwell Warriors on Friday as Bandys made off with a 13-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Bandys let Mikey Miley and Easton Ledford run wild. Miley scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2, while Ledford scored two runs while going 1-for-2. That's the most hits Miley has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Henry Aparicio Ramos, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Bandys always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bandys is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. West Caldwell's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.
