Basketball Game Preview: Leipsic Vikings vs. Fort Jennings Musketeers

The Leipsic Vikings just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Fort Jennings Musketeers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Leipsic will head into Friday's game eager for some revenge after what happened against Columbus Grove: Leipsic managed to slip by Columbus Grove the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Leipsic came up short against Columbus Grove on Friday, falling 80-60.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Jennings). They put the hurt on Temple Christian with a sharp 60-37 win on Friday. While the Musketeers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Fort Jennings has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Leipsic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
