Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to 13

Sacred Heart Academy proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 21) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-45 victory over the Fitch Falcons. Given Sacred Heart Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while Fitch is ranked 27th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sacred Heart Academy pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Fitch, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
