Volleyball Recap: Southridge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Aloha last Tuesday, Southridge came back down to earth. The Skyhawks lost 3-0 to the Mountainside Mavericks on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Skyhawks in their meetings with the Mavericks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Southridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Mountainside, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Southridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Jesuit on the 24th. As for Mountainside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Aloha on the 25th.
