Northeastern's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Mechanicsburg Indians by a score of 42-35. This was a revenge game for the Jets: when they faced off against the Indians back in January, they had to take a 52-50 loss.

Eli Wilson and Matthew Davis certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wilson shot 63% from the field to rack up 11 points and eight rebounds, while Davis posted eight points. Davis also posted a block, marking his first of the season.

Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Mechanicsburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Northeastern will be playing at home against National Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jets' defense better be ready for this one: the Blazers have averaged an impressive 52.2 points per game this season. As for Mechanicsburg, they will head out to square off against Emmanuel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
