            Volleyball Recap: Elida Bulldogs vs. Findlay Trojans        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Wapakoneta  on Thursday, Elida came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell  3-1 to the Findlay Trojans on Saturday. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 Elida started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-10, 25-21,  25-21.
 Abby Kristoff paced Elida's offense, picking up 15 kills. Kristoff got some help from  Addy Sneary and her 22 assists. Sneary was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
  Delaney Harris had a dynamite game For Findlay.,  getting 29  digs. With that strong performance,  Harris is now averaging an impressive 10.5  digs per game.
Elida has  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record  this season. As for Findlay,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 8-11.
 Elida didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-1  victory against Memorial on the 7th. As for Findlay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  loss against Perrysburg on the 7th.
