Football Game Preview: Houma Christian Warriors vs. Loreauville Tigers

Houma Christian is 0-3 against Loreauville since October of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Houma Christian's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against West St. Mary on Friday. They were dealt a 30-0 loss at the hands of the Wolfpack.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Loreauville duked it out with Delcambre on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 35-0 win over the Panthers. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Panthers are ranked 255th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Loreauville and bumps their season record up to 3-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 20 points in those games. As for Houma Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Houma Christian was dealt a bruising 57-3 loss at the hands of Loreauville when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
