Baseball Game Preview: Aurora Greenmen vs. Solon Comets

The Aurora Greenmen will venture away from home to square off against the Solon Comets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Aurora will head out to face Solon after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Greenmen came up short against Highland, falling 10-2.

Aurora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Scott, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Scott's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Solon came up short against Lakewood on Friday and fell 4-1.

Solon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Aurora, the loss was their first at home, dropping their record down to 5-5.

Aurora came out on top in a nail-biter against Solon when the teams last played back in May of 2017, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Greenmen repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
