In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Daniel Kean, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Elijah Vigil also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Eldorado hadn't done well against Sandia recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Eldorado's pitcher stepped up to hand Sandia a 5-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Not much got past Jace Sanchez-Reynolds, who gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks to keep Sandia off the board. Sanchez-Reynolds has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
