Volleyball Recap: Andrean Fighting 59ers vs. Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos
After flying high against Hobart on Thursday, Andrean came back down to earth. The Fighting 59ers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos on Saturday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Fighting 59ers were not able to get on the board.
Ryder Marsh paced Andrean's offense, picking up four kills. Marsh got some help from Trevor Prisby and his seven assists.
Edwin Rodriguez was the offensive standout of the game as he had nine digs and one assist.
Andrean's loss dropped their record down to 8-1. As for Lafayette Jefferson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.
