Volleyball Recap: Andrean Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hobart on Thursday, Andrean came back down to earth. The Fighting 59ers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos on Saturday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Fighting 59ers were not able to get on the board.

Ryder Marsh paced Andrean's offense, picking up four kills. Marsh got some help from Trevor Prisby and his seven assists.

Edwin Rodriguez was the offensive standout of the game as he had nine digs and one assist.

Andrean's loss dropped their record down to 8-1. As for Lafayette Jefferson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Andrean didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Munster on the 12th. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against McCutcheon on the 12th.
