Volleyball Recap: Logan-Rogersville's Winning Streak Snapped at 12 Games

It was a good run, but Logan-Rogersville unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the West Plains Zizzers by a score of 3-2. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Zizzers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Logan-Rogersville took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 16-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-5.

Millie Bauer paced Logan-Rogersville's offense, picking up 26 kills. Bauer got some help from Kamryn Marshall and her 50 assists. Bauer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Logan-Rogersville's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for West Plains, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Logan-Rogersville will venture away from home to take on Strafford at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Plains, they will head out to square off against Notre Dame at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
