Basketball Recap: Jay Comes Up Short

If Jay was riding high fresh off their 50-30 takedown of Commerce on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 54-32 to the Kansas Comets on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Kansas, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Jay will square off against Vinita at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kansas, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Colcord at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
