L.C. Bird had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Richmond High School for the Arts on Tuesday. The Skyhawks blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The Skyhawks haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

L.C. Bird's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 4-15. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. L.C. Bird is set to face off against their familiar foe Huguenot at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Richmond High School for the Arts will challenge rival Clover Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
