Basketball Recap: Prestonwood Christian North Takes a Loss

Prestonwood Christian North played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 79-35 loss at the hands of the First Baptist Saints. Prestonwood Christian North hasn't had much luck with First Baptist recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Leading First Baptist to victory were Meredith Quinn and Georgia Alford. Quinn dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds, while Alford dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards. Quinn's evening made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kolbie Gillispie, who posted 13 points.

Prestonwood Christian North's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for First Baptist, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season.

Prestonwood Christian North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for First Baptist, they will head out to square off against Brook Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Brook Hill comes in on three and First Baptist on ten.
