Baseball Recap: Lodi Comes Up Short

Lodi lost against Waldwick back in April of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by just one run.

Lodi saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Alfaro, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Lodi has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season. As for Waldwick, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.

Looking ahead, Lodi will face off against Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waldwick, they will challenge Park Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
