Softball Recap: Fern Creek Comes Up Short

Fern Creek lost against Bethlehem back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 10-6 to the Eagles/Banshees. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bailey Weihe was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Karley Hess, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Fern Creek's record is now 6-12. As for Bethlehem, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Fern Creek and Bethlehem will both be playing Western Hills the next time they take the field. The Eagles/Banshees will head out to face the Wolverines at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
