Basketball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Lee Generals came up short against the Foster Bulldogs and fell 69-59. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 194th in Alabama, while the Bulldogs are ranked 44th in Washington).

Jeremiah White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Foster, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. White is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Myjeer Rigney was another key player, putting up 17 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Lee and nudges their season record down to 2-9. As for Foster, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Lee and Sparkman will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 a.m. on December 26th. As for Foster, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Notre Dame Prep at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Notre Dame Prep will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Foster surely won't give up without a fight.
