Softball Recap: Mohave Accelerated Takes a Loss

Mohave Accelerated has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.88 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against the Perry Pumas, falling 10-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

The loss snapped Mohave Accelerated's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Perry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Mohave Accelerated will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Horizon Honors at 3:45 p.m. on March 20th. As for Perry, they have already played their next match, an 8-0 win against Fountain Valley on the 8th.
