Soccer Recap: Bellevue East Takes a Loss

Bellevue East fought the good fight in their overtime game against Roncalli Catholic on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Crimson Pride by a score of 2-1. Bellevue East just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Quentin Floro, who's now up to seven this season.

Bellevue East's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Roncalli Catholic, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bellevue East will face off against rival Omaha South at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Roncalli Catholic is set to take on their familiar foe Mount Michael Benedictine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
