Soccer Recap: Spring Gets the Win

Spring's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Dekaney Wildcats onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Emily Mendez was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Spring now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Dekaney, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Spring face off against the Nimitz at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dekaney, they will host MacArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. MacArthur is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.
