Preview: Celeste Blue Devils vs. Wolfe City Wolves
Celeste has been on the road for two straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Wolfe City Wolves at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Celeste beat Whitewright 38-29.
Meanwhile, Wolfe City scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Trenton at home to the tune of 71-25. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Wolfe City's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jarrett Tisdale, who scored 16 points along with five assists. It was the first time this season that Tisdale scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Cavan Armstrong, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Celeste's win bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Wolfe City, their victory bumped their record up to 9-22.
