Baseball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Faith Christian Academy's offense. They lost 24-0 to the Regents Lions on Monday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which Faith Christian Academy was not able to get on the board.

Faith Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Ploetner, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Faith Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Regents, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Faith Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Temple Christian at 4:30 p.m. As for Regents, they are taking a road trip to square off against Charlottesville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
