Volleyball Recap: Mira Mesa Comes Up Short

Mira Mesa lost against Coronado back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marauders fell 2-0 to the Islanders.

Mira Mesa's offense was headlined by Ivanna Nguyen and Kanaiya Parham, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Camille Collado and her five assists.

Mira Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Coronado, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Mira Mesa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against San Diego on the 29th. As for Coronado, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Central on the 29th.
