Volleyball Game Preview: Stephens County Indians vs. Franklin County Lions

The Stephens County Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Franklin County Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Stephens County came up short against Fannin County and fell 2-0. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Franklin County took on Cedar Shoals on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars. The Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 5th (when they won 3-0).

Franklin County walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-16, 25-20.

Franklin County's victory bumped their record up to 21-13. As for Stephens County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-27.

Stephens County couldn't quite get it done against Franklin County in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
