Recap: St. David's Warriors vs. GRACE Christian Eagles
The St. David's Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 64-45 fall against GRACE Christian. St. David's has not had much luck with GRACE Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
GRACE Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Quasim Oden out in front who scored 18 points along with 7 assists. The matchup was Oden's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Phillips II, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
St. David's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for GRACE Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
St. David's will be playing at home against Friendship Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Friendship Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. David's in North Carolina (Friendship Christian is ranked 101st, while St. David's is ranked 236th). GRACE Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Thomas More Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. St. Thomas More Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
